We have been contacted by NHS England to say from 17th June we can resume routine eye examinations.
Patient safety is our primary concern and to guarantee this, social distancing and infection control procedures are in place. However, as a result our capacity is greatly reduced.
Therefore at this time we will be prioritising:
- patients that feel like their vision has changed or are worried about the health of their eyes
- patients that have broken or lost spectacles and require an eye examination before they order a replacement pair.
We would suggest that patients with no problems who are overdue a routine examination wait a little longer before attending the practice, especially if you are shielding or in an at risk group.
Please telephone the practice before attending or if you need advice and we will be happy to discuss any concerns that you have.
We thank you for your patience.
